Emma

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. She was moved to Oxfordshire when she was five and enrolled in an academy called the Dragon School. Emma was six years old when she decided she wanted to be an actor. She was trained for many years at Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a full-time school of theatre in Oxford where she studied acting as well as singing. As part of a school production and a Stagecoach production, Emma was as the lead role at age 10, and acted. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the movie adaptation of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British novel began casting in 1999. Emma was spotted by Emma's Oxford Theatre teacher. After eight consecutive auditions, the producer David Heyman told Emma and other applicants Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint that they had been selected for the roles of the three lead characters Hermione Granger Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. Emma's debut film came with the release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2002). It was the highest-grossing film of 2001 it set new records for its opening day revenue as well as its opening weekend earnings. The critics were impressed by the film and its performance. The widely distributed British paper The Daily Telegraph called her performance admirable. Emma was awarded five nominations for her outstanding performance. Then, she was awarded the Young Artist Award in Leading Young Actress of the Film.
